Microsoft word title bar – this is a bar located at the top of a window or dialog box. This box displays the name of the window or program being used.

Menu bar – you will find this when you open a Microsoft Word. You will be met with a blank page. At the top of the page, you will find the menu bar. On the menu bar you will find the tabs labeled file, edit, view, insert, format, tools, table, window, and help.

Document view – this feature is the format in which you will find your document when done. Under this document view, the print layout view is the most used layout.

Text area – the text area is the place in your word document where you can begin typing your work. The ruler – the ruler is a vital feature of the Microsoft word product key. To display or hide this feature, first select the view tab in the ribbon. Check or uncheck the ruler checkbox in the “show” group tab to turn on and off the ruler.

Exit Microsoft Word – to do this click on the “X” ta at the upper top right-hand corner of the page and select Close from the pop-up menu.
